- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards - Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations - Ensure proper storage and handling of food items - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area - Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service - Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation guidelines - Monitor food quality and make adjustments as necessary Skills:
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes - Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils - Familiarity with retail math for pricing and inventory management - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members - Attention to detail for ensuring food quality and presentation - Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately - Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Note:
Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
