This position works within the city to find, assist with funding, and provide support and technical assistance for entrepreneurs, potential entrepreneurs, and small business owners.
Works under the general supervision of the Department Director and requires independent work and following through on multiple projects/clients.
Requires detailed record keeping as required by the grantor.
Candidate must have general knowledge of business principles, small businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and financing, must possess excellent communication skills, and be able to communicate clearly.
An associate degree in business, entrepreneurship, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
This is a grant-funded position, currently ending December 2023, but with the possibility of ending December 2025.
Hourly rate from $20 - $23.
