The Position The Purchasing Associate is responsible for handling various administrative functions in the Purchasing Department.
Plans and executes daily objectives that support the work and fulfills the mission and goals of the department efficiently and effectively.
The Procurement Associate is responsible for ensuring their daily workload requirements are obtained at the appropriate levels to ensure order PO's are entered and tracked timely in order to meet internal and external customer timelines.
This position will support Team members during peak periods offering support to better serve our Field Services Team members.
This position will work internally with other Department Groups to clear up Purchasing challenges by researching issues and providing resolution options along with necessary information.
This position will serve as backup for selected team members and give first-hand experience in many areas crucial to Purchasing Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all Purchase Orders are properly processed through the appropriate systems.
Work with Vendors to ensure issues around any open PO's are resolved in a timely manner.
Assist in processing the requests from the warehouse on missing packing slip/delivery issues.
Assist in PO processing as deemed necessary and required.
Assist A/P with any pricing issues Analyze (RNI) Received Not Invoiced Reports from AP.
Review the Lead Time review on Parts and perform Item Master Maintenance.
Address Field Services needs facilitating Rush Orders / Escalation Requests Perform weekly Demand Planning processing & review.
Research Open Market for urgently needed Materials.
Processing Office Supply Orders through Staples.
Enter Yearly Requisitions for Utilities and others as needed and required.
Qualifications Education:
Associates Degree or 1 to 3 Years equivalent experience, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 to 3 Years of Office environment & Microsoft Office suite experience desired.

Must have the ability to work independently and multi-task various requests while maintaining focus.
Demonstrated clear, informative, persuasive and collaborative verbal and written communications skills.
Must maintain a strong focus on Field Services support; to those who service our End Customers, striving to continuously improve our service levels.
Must exhibit integrity, honesty, courtesy, and professionalism in all interactions.
Must possess strong work ethic in supporting Team needs, responding promptly and consistently.
MS Office portfolio knowledge with a concentration in Excel and Word.
Knowledge and experience with Telecommunications Network Technologies and Operations a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
