The CSVOOY provides and promotes collaborative efforts among youth, families, human service providers, and community organizations to encourage positive youth development in our company.
Areas the office specializes in include family life, parenting, truancy, and crime control.
The Program Assistant position will provide support in our community schools and community-based programs.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, possesses knowledge of educational techniques and community systems, and current public health issues; particularly as they relate to youth and young adults, is aware of consequences associated with risky behaviors, and is familiar with evidence-based curriculums.
The Program Assistant must have strong communication/public speaking skills and be able to relate well with youth and families.
This position is full-time with a varying schedule based on programs.
There will be training and cross-training opportunities available with this position.
Education requirements include any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate's degree with coursework in human services or related fields and experience in working with youth.
Valid Virginia Driver's License, criminal background check, and drug screen required.
