Sr. Cisco Architect
Looking for a Sr. level (CCIE) Cisco Service Provider Architecture experience. MUST HAVE ASR 9000 and IOS XRexperience. Travel expenses to/from and lodging picked up directly by client (no float).
The client is in need for a contract resource (6 mos.) to work on site located in Waynesboro, Virginia about 2 hours by auto from either Richmond VA or Dulles west of the DC area. It is also about 30 minutes from Charlottesville, VA. The consultants meals will be out of pocket/reimbursed via expense form. Travel and lodging will be handled and paid directly clients travel agency. They can expect some of the work will be done on site in Virginia, and part off-site. What percentage is on site vs. off site, and whether the off-site work ends up being conducted in clients office in Dallas (or elsewhere) is something that will be decided during conversations between the client and the successful candidate.
What they need is a CCIE level (certification strongly preferred) Senior Service Provider Engineer/Architect. This person will have expertise using Ciscos high-end ASR 9000 routers (for extremely heavy video delivery and mobile internet), as well as the IOS XR operating system. NOTE that XR shares very little infrastructure with prior IOS versions. (Here is some more info on the ASR 9000)
In addition to the technical background, this needs to be a person with the presence to be a stand-alone, client facing representative on the client site, working side by side with them to architect solutions. They will serve in a consultative capacity and need to be comfortable interacting with both senior technical and C level management contacts.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
