Growing Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) Construction Company seeks experienced Senior Project Manager to assume key role. You will have complete responsibility for project management of both prime and subcontracts.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall management of the project. Estimating, planning, executing, coordinating and budgeting all aspects of project sites.
Managing resources and coordinating the efforts of company employees and other resources, third party subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers in order to deliver completed projects in accordance with clients requirements, plans, budgets and schedules.
Define the project goals and objectives, oversee the projects safe execution and quality control throughout the project duration.
You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of all financial data and reports and the project schedule.
You may oversee multiple projects at once.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Project Management
Create and execute project work plans/ schedules and revisions as needed.
Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Manage day-to-day project operations
Interpret and explains plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients.
Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Maintain information within Sage 100 software, Timberline, MC2 or Bently.
Ensure projects compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Implement VIP safety and quality control programs.
Conduct and safety tool box meetings as well as site safety meetings.
Project Accounting
Track and reports team hours and project expenses on a weekly basis.
Create and manage project budget.
Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for project.
Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
Financial Management
Understand basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections.
Understand and utilize company pricing model and billing procedures.
Accurately forecast revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
Assure project legal documents are completed and signed.
Business Development
Identify business development and add-on sales opportunities.
Lead proposal efforts including completing project scoping and LOE assessments.
Participate in industry Trade Shows
Technical Understanding
Possesses general understanding of application programming, database and system design.
Understand Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.
Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements.
Client Management
Manage day-to-day client interaction; Set and manage client expectations.
Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management and 7 years of related experience with proven project success.
Knowledge of materials, methods, calculations , design techniques, and principals involved in construction, fabrication and installation of high purity, sanitary and process systems, and modular process systems, utility systems, mechanical systems such as chillers, boilers pressure vessels HVAC, plumbing for industries such as dairy, food, pharmaceuticals, beverage, confections, hospitals, institutional and power industry.
Business and management principles involved in strategic planning, project planning, schedule forecasting and cost controls.
Ability to negotiate contracts and change orders.
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and tight deadlines. Ability to maintain communications with clients and upper management through required reports and meetings.
Ability to defuse tensions among resources, contractors and clients; ability to work with a variety of skilled, unskilled, professional, and administrative personnel, provide mentoring and technical training to lower tiered staff and Project Managers as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
