Vehicle Description One year model and considered to be the year you want.
First year with 12 volt electrics but still retaining the old school bumpers and lamps.
Convertibles are very rare and almost none are available.
Floor pans were replaced prior to our ownership, but it is nicely detailed and solid underneath.
The following items have been replaced new:
gas tank, fuel pump, rebuilt carburetor, new coil, spark plug wires, plug, cap, rotor, complete brake system with springs, shoes, wheel cylinders, adjusters, axle boots, all four shocks, hoses, master cylinder, windshield, rubber, chrome, finisher, lens and head lamp chromes, body mouldings, running boards, bumpers and over riders, reverse lamps, wheels and tires, cloth top and boot cover.
The engine has also been freshly painted and detailed.
The entire car has been checked over and everything works as it should.
It drives perfect and has good power.
The new brake system works well, and new rims and tires make it feel new.
These have been steadily rising in price and this is very fairly priced at $27,500.
Perfect Christmas present for the hard to buy for and a sound investment in a great fuel economy car with no computers or black boxes to worry about.
Simple, fun, and really cool.
